Livestock Schistosoma Antibody Test Strip

Principle

This rapid test is an immuno-chromatographic test, using colloidal gold immunoassay method, to detect Schistosoma antibody in serum. The gold labeled schistosomiasis antigen (Au, Ag) is coated in the glass fiber paper. In the nitrocellulose membrane Test line and Control line, Schistosoma antigen and anti-Schistosoma antibody are respectively coated. When the sample is positive, Schistosoma antibody in the sample combine with the coated Schistosoma antigen, forming compound. The compound moves along the strip via chromatography, it combines with coated Schistosoma antigen forming "Au-Ag-schistosomiasis Antibody-Ag-solid phase material" while through Test line, showing color. Free gold labeled Schistosoma antigen combines with Schistosoma antibody in the Control line, showing color. For Negative sample, only the Control line show color.
